Defending access to culture is a constant struggle. For the past 20 years, Music Fund has been on the front line supporting vulnerable musicians around the world. It gives them the opportunity to practise music in suitable conditions. And every year, men and women decide to give young people hope and to join forces with those working towards reconciliation, dialogue and peace. You actively support our work on the ground, which has already enabled us to:
- Collect 13,906 instruments
- Repair and donate 8,084 instruments
- Identify and support 15 partner projects in Palestine, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Mozambique and Morocco
- Train 24 professionally active instrument repairers and sound engineers
- Set up and equip 14 repair workshops and recording studios within partner projects
- Establish 22 permanent collection points in 6 European countries

Over the past two decades, Music Fund has made a tangible difference to the lives of many communities in Belgium and abroad. Unfortunately, conflicts, political instability and the deterioration of socio-economic and security conditions are taking a heavy toll on the countries where we work. For this reason, we wish to further strengthen our impact and expand our capacity to support our beneficiaries. We also wish to expand our work in Belgium, as many children and adults are currently excluded from cultural life due to the glaring inequalities they face. To achieve this, we need your support!
