Following the SIMM-posium in Ghent, a special event is proposed by the Brussels based Kaaitheater (www.kaaitheater.be) the evening of 7th October (20:30 to 22:30), with the following programme:

1. a lecture by Dutch philosopher Hans Achterhuis on violence in our world
   
   
2. followed by a panel composed of speakers of the SIMM-posium, discussing which role arts in general - and music in particular - can play in social projects working with victims and perpetrators of violence:

3. Concert by the FORAD DUO, bringing music from Irak and Syria - concert proposed by Globe Aroma (www.globearoma.be)"
